Award-winning beat poet Roderick Deacey presents his annual Beat Poetry show with the help of the DC Beats – drummer/percussionist/train-whistler Ron Goad and upright electric bass player Niels Jonker. Plus, hear readings by featured poets Luther Jett and Claudia Gary. Open mic will follow.
Monthly 2nd Wednesday series, with varied hosts. Free to enter or attend. May be followed by open mic, at discretion of hosts. Sky Stage is an all-ages venue, content may be PG-13.
Beer/wine w/ID and other concessions available for purchase to benefit Sky Stage/Frederick Arts Council.
